PURPOSE: A wide-angle joint is provided to reduce noise by installing a clearance-compensating unit between a coupling yoke and a plate assembly to compensate radial clearance between the coupling yoke and the plate assembly and absorb external impact force. CONSTITUTION: A wide-angle joint comprises a pair of yoke shafts disposed on the sides, to transmit power from one side to the other side; a pair of coupling yokes each connected between the yoke shafts; a plate assembly(30) inserted in the coupling yokes, so as to rotate within a predetermined angle through clearance; and an eccentric hole(40) in which one-ends of the yoke shafts are rotatably inserted. The wide-angle joint comprises a cylindrical installation groove(50) recessed in the middle side of the outer surface of the plate assembly, and a wave ring(60). The inside diameter of the wave ring is inserted in the installation groove and the outside diameter comes in contact with the inner surface of the coupling yoke, to produce elastic force in the radial direction.
