<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tool holder for easily correcting a rotational balance. <P>SOLUTION: A fastening nut 8 for sandwiching operation of a tool shank S is engaged by a screw with a holder part 4 of a holder body 1, and a balance correcting ring 11 and a disc spring 12 for pressing the balance correcting ring 11 to a rear end surface of the fastening nut 8 are incorporated between the fastening nut 8 and a flange 3 formed in the holder body 1. An imbalance angle position and an imbalance quantity are detected by rotating the tool holder at a high speed, and the imbalance angle position of the balance correcting ring 11 is cut by a quantity corresponding to the imbalance quantity, and the rotational balance of the tool holder is corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
