ENTRY/EXIT CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and convenient entry/exit control system and method that can prevent unauthorized use of equipment in a place by an intruder.

SOLUTION: The entry/exit control system and method use a portable recording medium on which holder information about a holder is recorded in advance, first controlling means for controlling an entry to and exit from a particular place by means of the portable recording medium and recording entry/exit information about the entry and exit on the portable recording medium, and second controlling means for controlling authority to use equipment in the place according to the entry/exit information recorded on the portable recording medium by the first controlling means.
