<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a locking device of a glove box capable of being safely and easily assembled. <P>SOLUTION: The locking device of the glove box composed of a base 21 formed in a box-shape mounted to the glove box used for a vehicle, a detachable ratchet 22 movably supported on the base 21 by a ratchet rotary shaft 25 and provided to a striker 24 and a knob 23 supported on a shaft separated from the ratchet rotary shaft 25 and capable of rotating the ratchet 22 is so constituted that a bar-shaped ratchet driving section 30 driven by the knob 23 is provided to one side of the ratchet and that a wider assembling lever 31 used when it is built up along the ratchet driving section 30 is provided to the ratchet 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
