<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device capable of preventing an erroneous operation and easily detecting a defective part even when a solar collector is used in a water heater in combination with each other. <P>SOLUTION: A combustion chamber 4 is disposed on the lower inside of a tubular container body 1, a hot water storage chamber 6 is formed with a space between the container body 1 and the combustion chamber 4, and a flue pipe 5 is installed between an exhaust chamber 2 on the upper part of the container body 1 and the combustion chamber 4. A water supply pipe 7 is opened to the lower part of a container body 1 side wall and a hot water delivery pipe 8 is opened to the upper part, and a hot water temperature sensor 9 is installed between the water supply pipe 7 and the hot water delivery pipe 8 and a bimetal 10 is installed between the hot water delivery pipe 8 and the hot water temperature sensor 9. When the hot water temperature sensor 9 detects a set temperature or below, a determination means 11 is operated and, when the determination means 11 does not detect signals from the bimetal 10, the combustion start temperature of a burner 3 is lowered by a specified temperature by a temperature correction part 13. Then, when the bimetal 10 is returned, the determination means gives a combustion instruction to the burner 3. On the other hand, when the hot water temperature sensor 9 detects the temperature after the correction before the bimetal 10 is returned, the determination means operates a warning means 12 without giving the combustion instruction to the burner 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
