PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for suppressing the occurrence of an error in the correspondence of an air conditioning equipment to be monitored with a plurality of adapters at a management apparatus side even when the air conditioning equipment to be monitored is connected through the plurality of adapters to the management apparatus.

SOLUTION: This system for managing air conditioning equipment to be monitored is provided with an air-conditioning central management apparatus 15 to which a specific protocol is adopted and general-purpose adapters 55 and 56. The general-purpose adapters 55 and 56 are interposed between an air conditioning central management apparatus 15 and an exterior unit 51 of the air conditioning equipment to carry out the conversion of a protocol. The general-purpose adapters 55 and 56 are provided with a dip switch 7 for grouping in order to indicate that they are belonging to a group which is common to other adapters.
