<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a hinge of a double guide type at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge for furniture comprises a hinge arm (1) and a rotatable hinge (6) connected to the hinge arm (1) to be freely displaced. The movement of the hinge to a close position is damped by a rotary damper at a part of its closing route. The rotary damper comprises a shaft damper (13) which is provided with a shaft (18) and a cylinder (14).
