<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining device for an electric cable capable of attaining drainage from the inside of the electric cable in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: A draining portion 2 is formed by removing a part of an insulated coating 23 for the electric cable 1. The draining portion 2 is covered with a box 3 so as to be in a sealed condition. An air pump 4 is connected to the box 3. A sealing tank is intervened between the box 3 and the air pump 4. Insides of the sealing tank 5 and the box 3 are decompressed by the air pump 4. Water gathered in the electric cable is forcibly sucked out to be gathered in the sealing tank 5. The speed of the drainage from the electric cable 1 becomes high, thus attaining drainage in a short time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
