PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a plurality of monodispersed nanoparticles having an inorganic material core. SOLUTION: An organic nonpolar aprotic solvent, an oxidizing substance and a primary surfactant are combined and then a metal and at least one organometallic compound containing at least one ligand are added. At least one organometallic compound and the oxidizing substance are reacted in existence of the primary surfactant and the organic nonpolar aprotic solvent by heating to a primary temperature whose range is approximately 30-400°C in an inert gas atmosphere over a primary time interval. A plurality of nanoparticles (10), each of them provides nano-crystalline inorganic core (12) and at least one outer coating (14) with the primary surfactant, are formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
