METHOD OF DETECTING EJECTION OF LIQUID AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect defective ejection of a liquid in a short time without wasting a liquid. SOLUTION: An imaging means 12 for imaging a nozzle arrangement face 2a of an inkjet head 2 is provided to a standby region 11. An analyzing means 32 for analyzing image data transmitted from the imaging means 12 is provided to an ink ejection detecting device 31. The analyzing means 32 comprises an image parameter correcting section 35 and a pattern recognizing section 36, and performs the correction of the image data transmitted from the imaging means 12 in the image parameter correcting section 35 and the pattern recognition of the corrected image data in the pattern recognizing section 36.
