PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out performance inspection of an ignition coil of an ignition device for an internal combustion engine having a ignition plug and an ignition coil integrated. SOLUTION: Voltage generated by the ignition coil 3 is measured under a condition that a member to be inspected A including the ignition plug 2 and the ignition coil 3 is stored in an inspection case 100 without a grounded electrode.
