PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer pushing apparatus improving workability of insertion work of a retainer by inserting the retainer in a housing by a single-hand operation. SOLUTION: The housing 2 is made to abut on an abutment plate 12e to push the housing downward, so that a pushing part 12 moves downward against the biasing force of a coil spring 17 to be pushedly moved to a pushed position. When the pushing part 12 is pushedly moved to the pushed position, the regulation of a lock member 13 to the upward movement of the pushing part 14 is released, and the pushing part 14 moves upward by the biasing force of the coil spring 17. The retainer 3 is thus inserted in the housing 2 by being pushed by the upper surface of the pushing part 14 moved upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
