PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be further miniaturized even when it has a plurality of display panels and whose power consumption can be reduced. SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with: a main panel 2 formed on a glass substrate 1; a sub panel 3 formed in an area other than the area where the main panel 2 is formed on the same glass substrate 1; a drain line and a gate line so arranged on the glass substrate 1 as to cross with each other; and a static type memory (SRAM) 32 incorporated in the sub panel 3 for holding signals from the drain line in accordance with the signals inputted from the gate line.
