PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building for relatively freely arranging a storage room having a height of 1.2 to 1.4 m in a desired position. SOLUTION: A skip floor 20 higher by 1.2 to 1.4 m than a floor 17b is arranged above the floor 17b. A space surrounded by the floor 17b, the skip floor 20 and walls (an outer wall 22 and an inner wall 23) arranged between these floors is formed as the storage room 17. The storage room 17 having the height of 1.2 to 1.4 m can be relatively freely arranged in the desired position without taking into consideration the position of stairs 7 reaching the upper floor from the lower floor by arranging an entrance 17a to the storage room 17 in the wall 23 for forming the storage room 17.
