PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the expenditure of a maintenance business including a construction cost of work itself by minimizing social and economic loss when constructing a bridge. SOLUTION: An upper work installed on a bridge pier is formed as a width expandable structure, and a width is expanded after installing the upper work on the bridge pier in a width narrowed state.
