PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door structure for retrofitting wherein a door body can be adjusted in size to fit an existing door frame to which an old door has been attached and a latch strike plate can be mounted to conceal an old latch receiving part. SOLUTION: The door structure comprises an existing door frame 10 to which an old door has been attached, and a new door body 1. The door body 1 is vertically cut by a certain thickness at a hinged side 2 and thus making it horizontally adjustable in size. The existing door frame 10 is fitted with a latch strike plate 9 which conceals an old latch receiving part formed in the existing door frame 10 and which receives the latch R of the door body 1. Preferably, the side end of the hinged side 2, after being adjusted in size by cutting a link means 7, is finished by mounting an edge cover 8 thereon. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
