PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tether structure of a filler cap with the tether having a simple structure and capable of rotating, screw-fitting, opening, and closing a handle part continuously and smoothly by only slight change of the structure, keeping constant positional relation of the tether and the filler cap always, and ensuring a proper screw-fitting start position of the filler cap at reduced cost. SOLUTION: In the filler cap with tether in which an annular member 5 of one end part of the tether 7 whose other end part is locked in a fuel flap 10 is mounted on the handle part 2 of the filler cap 1 so as to rotate relatively and freely, it has a mounting structure in which rotation resistance force is not generated between the annular member 5 and the filler cap 1 due to bending of the tether 7. The filler cap 1 is continuously and smoothly rotated for the annular member 5 irrespective of bending of the tether 7 to enable rotation, screw-fitting, opening, and closing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
