An electric power steering apparatus has a coil bobbin that is held in a holding portion formed of an electromagnetic yoke and a yoke cover and that is connectable to a sensor circuit substrate through two connection pins stood on a terminal block on the upper end portion of a side face of the yoke. A torque sensor structured of the coil bobbin and a coil bobbin same as at least the coil bobbin opposed to each other is installed and held in a sensor housing, and steering torque generated by steering operation is detected by the torque sensor. Limiting means for limiting a phase difference in a circumferential direction of the individual connection pin pairs is provided on the side of a mating face of each of the terminal blocks.
