<p>The present invention relates to new mutants of biotin binding proteins with improved properties, e.g., thermally stabilized compared to wild type proteins. Proteins, which bind biotin include chicken avidin and bacterial streptavidin, other poultry avidins, such as avidin proteins isolated from the duck, goose, ostrich and turkey, and chicken avidin-related proteins (AVRs).</p> |
