PURPOSE: A device for preventing projection of a pedal for a vehicle is provided to prevent a driver from being injured by preventing the pedal of a driver's seat from projecting backwardly although weighty objects of an engine room is pushed in the backward direction of a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing projection of a pedal(5) for a vehicle comprises a displacement-absorbing and connecting unit connecting a push rod(3) of a master cylinder(1) and the pedal, and absorbing the displacement of the push rod relative to a vehicle body, and a trigger unit operating the displacement-absorbing and connecting unit according to the vehicle state changing in case of an accident. The displacement-absorbing and connecting unit comprises a connecting rod(7) having an absorbing cylinder, so that the push rod of the master cylinder is inserted in the absorbing cylinder and perturbed to a predetermined stroke, and a key plate(9) fitted cross the absorbing cylinder and the push rod, so that the push rod is inserted in the end of the absorbing cylinder and fixed. The key plate releases the fixed state of the push rod and the absorbing cylinder by the pulling of a direction opposite to the fitted direction.
