<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow insertion lines of specification into a form when carrying out overlay printing of form data. <P>SOLUTION: In a form data processing system that allows stored form data to be referred to and updated when carrying out the overlay printing of form data, a server 20 shifts displaying and printing positions of lines of specification information and variation information in lines of specification by the number of the inserted lines of specification without changing ruled line frames.
