<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display for displaying a stereoscopic image that can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display has an image transmitting means 51 for displaying sectional images of an object divided in planes inclined to the horizontal plane on the division planes of a plurality of moving image display plates a1-a7, thereby displaying a subscribe image utilizing the residual image effect. A means 56 for driving the plurality of moving image display plates translates these plates in an inclined attitude within an observation range from above to below, and the image transmitting means 53 transmits the sectional images at their positions to the moving image display plates with fixed intervals one after another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
