<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reproducing zoom to speedily move a reproducing zoom range when reproducing a motion picture and to precisely move the reproducing zoom range when temporarily stopping the motion picture. <P>SOLUTION: The reproducing apparatus is provided with an expansion processing means for expanding and displaying an arbitrary portion of an image to be displayed on a screen, and a control means for changing operation characteristics of the expansion processing means in accordance with whether the image is a motion picture or a still picture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
