<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driven electric opening/closing gate which has a large and heavy gate body, dispenses with the provision of a rail or other guides on the ground at a location at which the gate body is closed, and is automatically openable/closable. <P>SOLUTION: The gate body is movable between a receding location that releases a passage and the closed location that blocks the passage, and provided with a driving device equipped with driving wheels. The gate body is provided with a guide rail, and a guide member for engaging with the guide rail and restricting the traveling direction of the gate body is arranged in the vicinity of the receding location outside the passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
