<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing overprinting, in the case of forming an image on, what is called, a rear paper with an image already formed on other side. <P>SOLUTION: A paper cassette where the rear paper with the image formed on other side is stored, is detected by a rear paper detection part 1. In the case both-side printing is designated, it is inhibited by the apparatus body control part 2 to perform both-side printing using the rear paper stored in the paper cassette detected by the rear paper detection part 1, and the inhibition of the both-side printing is displayed on a composite panel 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
