<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which can protect a paper end surface without a complex machining process. <P>SOLUTION: The paper container 1 is made of a laminate 110 consisting of a paper sheet with a resin layer provided on at least one of its surfaces, and consists of a rectangular parallelopiped barrel 2 having four side face plates 11, 12, 13 and 14 and an adhesive piece 15 successively provided on one of the side face plates and connected with the adjacent side face plate, a top 3 formed at one of opening ends of the barrel, and a bottom 4 formed at the other opening end of the barrel.
