<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a pair of high frequency heating coils to respectively correspond to a plurality of workpieces with different dimensions, to improve the productivity of the workpieces, and to improve the utilization efficiency of electrical energy. <P>SOLUTION: The high frequency heating apparatus 20 has a pair of heating conductor parts 22a and 22b, a first moving mechanism 24, and a second moving mechanism 26. The heating conductor parts 22a and 22b are moved so as to mutually be closed or separated (in arrow (X) directions) by the operation of the first moving mechanism 24, and are positioned with a prescribed gap to a workpiece W1.
