<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood striker structure for reducing shock on a pedestrian when a vehicle makes forward collision to the pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: In the hood striker structure in which a striker 1 fitted to a food 2 is engaged with a lock 3 provided on a vehicle structural member, the striker 1 has an easily-deforming portion which is deformed to reduce the striker 1 in the vehicle height direction when the load of not less than a predetermined value is input from an upper part thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
