PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very practical meter mounting metal fitting having a base body and a wall face mounting part capable of sliding in the separating/approaching direction for adjustment only by fastening or screwing a single fastening bolt and exhibiting great fixing strength when the base body and the wall face mounting part are fixed by the fastening bolt. SOLUTION: In this meter mounting metal fitting fixing a pair of left and right pipes 5 in a meter 1 to a wall face 3, a long window type mounting hole 7 is arranged in one part of the base body 4 or the wall face mounting part 5, and a slidably adjusting fixing mechanism 6 is constructed so that the wall mounting part 5 can be fixed to the base body 4 while allowing its slidable adjustment freely by screwing the base body 4 and the wall face mounting part 5 by means of the fastening bolt 12 via the long window type mounting hole 7. A slide guide part 9 for guiding slidable adjustment movement of the edge part in the wall face mounting part 5 or the base body 4 is projected in the base body 4 or the wall face mounting part 5.
