PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for treating glass which is not limited by its shape or thickness and effectively improves crack resistance of the glass without causing explosive damage. SOLUTION: In the process for treating the glass, electron beam of a specific dose or larger is applied to the surface of the glass to improve its crack resistance measured by a specific process.
