PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending method and a bending device for protecting a hand of a worker to hold a small work when bending the very small workpiece. SOLUTION: In a condition in which a worker presses at least one touch sensor 17 provided on the die D or a die holder 11 when a workpiece W is positioned to be butted against a back gauge 13, and an ON signal is generated in bending the workpiece W in cooperation with a punch P and a die D, a ram control means works, and a ram is operated to bend the workpiece W in cooperation with the punch P and the die D.
