PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fixing a wheelchair to a vehicle, which enables short-time operations of attachment/detachment by simplifying a structure. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with: a holding member 2 which is to be fixed to the indoor fixing part of the vehicle via a mounting member 1; a shaft 5 which is slidably fitted and inserted into the holding member 2; a pair of left and right frame gripping arms 6a and 6b for gripping left and right frames of a backrest of the wheelchair fixed to a slider 7 which is fixed to one end of the shaft 5 and which is fitted and inserted into the other end of the shaft 5 so as to be slidable with respect to the shaft 5; and a seatbelt 8 for restraining a person sitting on the wheelchair. The holding member 2 is provided with a screw 9 for locking the slide of the shaft 5, and the slider 7 is provided with a screw 10 for locking the slider 7 to the shaft 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
