<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that automatically performs a predetermined operation on equipment after initializing the equipment, thereby sparing a network manager of these jobs. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device which automatically sets the services of a device on a network includes a means for receiving a report that initialization of the device is complete; a means for obtaining information on users allowed to use the device, in response to the report; a means for setting this information in the device; a means for obtaining the resources required for the services provided by the device, in response to the report; and a means for downloading the resources into the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
