DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING PART MOUNTING MARK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognizing device and a method, which are capable of remarkably shortening the recognition time.

SOLUTION: A board 2 is partitioned into a plurality of regions 2A, and the part mounting mark recognizing device is used for recognizing a part mounting mark 71 arranged corresponding to a part mounting position 70 located in one of the regions 2A at which a part is mounted. The above recognizing device is equipped with cameras 90 which recognize the above marks 71 rectilinearly arranged in each of the above regions 2A and moving units 5 and 15 which move the cameras 90 nearly at a regular speed in the arrangement direction in which the marks are rectilinearly arranged, and the marks 71 are recognized with the cameras 90 as the cameras 90 are moved by the moving units 5 and 15.
