<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green pigment for a color filter displaying color coordinates undisplayable by a past green pigment, with superior green coloring capacity with moderate blue color and a high transmissivity, and to provide a photosensitive coloring composition using the green pigment, a pigment dispersion, the color filter and a liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The green pigment for the color filter comprises a phthalocyanine green pigment, and displays an xy color coordinates region enclosed by following equations 1, 2 and 3 in an XYZ color display system of CIE when measured as a single body: equation 1; y=2.640×x+0.080, where 0.180<x<0.230, equation 2;y=5261.500×x4-6338.700×x3+2870.400×x2-580.730×x+44.810, where 0.230<x<0.350, equation 3; y=-36.379×x3+37.410×x2-13.062×x+1.907, where 0.180<x<0.350. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
