PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational operation type electronic component having a push-on switch, capable of enhancing reliability and life characteristics of a device, without causing swelling of silicone rubber even if it is thinned. SOLUTION: In this rotational operation type electronic component having the push-on switch provided with the push-on switch 10 actuated by the axial operation of an operation shaft 1, a movable contact 6 and a conductor pattern 5 brought into sliding contact with each other by the action of the operation shaft 1 in the direction of its rotation, and a silicone rubber dome 9 to energize the operation shaft 1 toward its initial position, a silicone grease composition containing (A) 100 parts by weight of silicon oil expressed by the general formula (in the formula, R expresses an alkyl group having a number of carbons of 6-10, and m expresses integral numbers of 3-100) while having viscosity of 1-100 cm2/s at 25°C, (B) 0.1-30 ptw. of a thickener, (C) 0.01-3 ptw. of an anticorrosive agent, (D) 0.1-5 ptw. of an oxidation inhibitor, and (E) 0.1-30 ptw. of fluororesin powder, is applied to the contact part.
