PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter circuit capable of preventing a harmonic voltage from being amplified at an antiresonant frequency at which an anti-resonance occurs and flowing out to a load and an electric power system, and capable of obtaining a sufficient harmonic absorption effect at an resonance frequency. SOLUTION: A filter circuit 13 is configured by connecting a first series circuit consisting of a first reactor 8 and a first capacitor 9 and a resistor 10 parallel to a power supply 1, and by connecting a second series circuit consisting of a second reactor 11 and a second capacitor 12 parallel to the resistor 10 between the power supply 1 including arbitrary harmonic component and a load 2. Since an impedance at the both ends of the resistor 10 can be reduced by matching the resonance frequency for the second reactor 11 and the second capacitor 12 with the resonance frequency for the first reactor 8 and the first capacitor 9, the harmonic absorption effect at the resonance frequency can be also sufficiently obtained while suppressing the amplification of the harmonic voltage at the antiresonant frequency.
