PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a plurality of units consisting of power supply sources like batteries and the like and equipment that operates on the batteries are operated in assembly and, if the power supply source like the battery and the like of a unit fails, the unit assembly cannot be operated. SOLUTION: A first unit A in the Figure is provided with a battery 2, a motor 3, a variety of equipment 4, and a controlling device 5 that controls the equipment 4. This unit A is also provided with a signal line 9 for the controlling device 5 and a power line 6 for the battery 2. On the signal line 9, a recessed connector 10 and a projected connector 11 are provided, and on the power line 6 a recessed connector 7 and a projected connector 8. A second unit B is structured in the same way as the first unit A. When both units are put close to each other as shown in the Fig. (b) from the condition in Fig. (a), both connectors are connected. This connection constitutes the parallel connection of the batteries 2, 13 of each unit, and enables the motors 3, 14 and the like of each unit to use all the batteries connected in a group.
