摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce switching loss in a self-arc-extinguishing element of a main switch circuit constituting a boosting chopper circuit for the enhancement of the conversion efficiency and the size reduction of the boosting chopper circuit. SOLUTION: In addition to a main reactor 11, a main diode 12, a main switch circuit 13, and a smoothing capacitor 14 which constitute conventional boosting chopper circuit; a boosting chopper circuit 3 comprises an auxiliary reactor 31, a regenerative capacitor 32, a first diode 33, a second diode 34, a auxiliary switch circuit 35, a snubber capacitor 36, and a control circuit 37. When each of the self-arc-extinguishing elements constituting the main switch circuit 13 and the auxiliary switch circuit 35 is turned on, zero-current switching is carried out.
