PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator cage capable of dismantling an old cage operation panel at the time of modification work, and attaining various formative expressions for an operation panel attaching plate in which an updated cage operation panel is attached. SOLUTION: The operation panel attaching plate 15 is added to a wall plate 6 for replacing the old cage operation panel with the updated cage operation panel 12. The updated cage operation panel 12 is attached at the operation panel attaching plate 15, and a protrusion part 16 which is protruded from a surface position of the wall plate 6 to the cage interior side to be formed is provided at the cage operation panel attaching plate 12. Therefore, the formative expression of the operation panel attaching panel 12 can be varied, and appearance can be improved. The strength of the operation panel attaching plate 12 can be increased by forming the protrusion part 16, and attachment of the operation panel attaching plate 12 can be simplified, thus saving production cost of the cage.
