PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for imparting interest to a game by allowing reels to perform colorful rotary operation. SOLUTION: This game machine 1 has the reels 3L, 3C and 3R for variably displaying symbols required for the game, a main control circuit 71 for determining a stopping mode of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R on the basis of stopping operation of a game player and a sub-control circuit 72 for controlling the reels 3L, 3C and 3R on the basis of determination of the stopping mode and a variable display mode by determining the variable display mode of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R on the basis of starting operation of the game player.
