PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily take out washing while securing safety in wrinkling preventive operation performed after drying operation. SOLUTION: In the wrinkling preventive operation, the rotation of a drum 13 is repeated interposing long stop time until the user takes out the washing. The washing dried in the drum 13 is thereby agitated occasionally to prevent wrinkling of the washing. Since an upper cover 2 is locked during the rotation of the drum 13, the upper cover 2 is prevented from being opened by the user to secure safety. Furthermore, when the drum 13 stops, it stops in a fixed position, and the lock of the upper cover 2 is released during the stop period of the drum 13. Consequently, when the user takes out the washing, there is no need to perform special operation for stopping in the fixed position or releasing the lock of the upper cover 2.
