PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a plasma display panel (PDP) displaying a good image by improving coating accuracy of a phosphor layer and preventing the deterioration of luminance. SOLUTION: The PDP is obtained by arranging many monocolor or multicolor discharge cells, and phosphor layers 110R, 110G and 110B having colors corresponding to each discharge cell. The phosphor layers 110R, 110G and 110B have the green phosphor layers 110G, and the phosphor constituting the green phosphor layer 110G is charged with positive electricity. The phosphor of each color of R, G and B are charged with the positive electricity thereby, and as a result, the accuracy of coating of the phosphor layers 110R, 110G and 110B is improved, and the deterioration of the luminance is prevented to achieve the PDP capable of displaying the good image.
