Tensioning device for a continuous drive (1) comprises a piston holder (12), at least one tensioning piston (36) displaced by the piston holder, and a fixing device for attaching the piston holder. The fixing device has a mounting plate (6) and the piston holder is designed at least partly as an injection molded part molded on the mounting plate. The mounting plate has at least one anchoring device which is surrounded and/or filled at least partly with the plastic material of the piston holder. Preferred Features: The plastic material of the piston holder contains embedded bronze particles.
