SCROLL COMPRESSOR WITH OUTER ROTOR-TYPE MOTOR

PURPOSE: A scroll compressor with an outer rotor-type motor is provided to sharply reduce the height of the compressor and change a usual sub-frame to reduce a unit cost and the length of an assembling process. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor with an outer rotor-type motor comprises a case(10); a main frame(20) fixed in the case; a stator(30) fixed to the lower part of the main frame; a rotor disposed to the outer peripheral surface of the stator while forming concentricity with the stator and maintaining a void; a crank shaft(50) one side of which is fixed to the bottom of the rotor; a rotary scroll(5) turning by an eccentric part formed to the upper part of the crank shaft; and a fixing scroll(6) fixed to the upper part of the main frame. In the middle of the main frame, a boss(21) is projected downwardly and a bearing hole(22) is formed. A stepped thrust surface(23) is disposed to the upper side of the bearing hole. The middle part of the stator is hollowed. The other side of the crank shaft is positioned to the bearing hole of the main frame. The crank shaft has a thrust part(52) projected along the circumference of the eccentric part. The thrust part comes in contact with the thrust surface of the main frame. The fixing scroll executes compression by engaging with the rotary scroll.
