PURPOSE: A vent assembly for vehicle is provided to make the room of the vehicle delightful by interrupting external and internal air flowing through ventilation grilles when the vent assembly is not used and to improve a sense of beauty in the inner interior of the vehicle by preventing the ventilation grilles from being exposed. CONSTITUTION: A vent assembly(A) for a vehicle comprises ventilation grilles(1) and a vent assembly body(2). Guide grooves(21,21') oppositely formed to a side of the vent assembly body and to the front upper and lower ends of the vent assembly body, to guide a cut-off member(4). A rack gear(32) is installed on a side of the cut-off member. A driving motor(33) and a pinion gear(31) are engaged and the shut off member keeps the front of the ventilation grilles shut or open while moving forward and backward by a driving unit(3).
