OVPN TERMINATING DEVICE AND SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OVPN (optical virtual private network) terminating device capable of quickly responding to a request for changing a signal format applied by a user.

SOLUTION: A data line from the user is connected through an optical switch to a plural kinds of signal converters by using a control line for enabling the OVPN terminating device to know how the user of the OVPN is intended to connect signals of layer 1 to the OVPN. Various signals of the layer 1 can be thus accommodated in the OVPN by means of the optical switch.
