<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication device suitable for communication using an optical signal of a visual light area, an optical communication data output method, and optical communication data analyzing method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical communication device performs optical communication using an inversion pulse position modulation (inversion PPM) signal by applying inversion PPM processing for inverting an ON/OFF position in PPM to a communication data sequence. In the constitution, communication to which pulse data of a high duty cycle, i.e. a long pulse ON time, is applied can be performed, and in performing communication applying visual light in an illumination device or a display device, the communication can be performed without reducing the illuminance of the illumination device nor reducing the luminance level of the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
