PIGMENT DISPERSION LIQUID, COLORANT COMPOSITION, COLOR FILTER, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment dispersion and a colorant composition comprising a pigment finely dispersed therein and having excellent dispersion stability, and further to provide a color filter and a liquid crystal display panel both having a high contrast.

SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion is characterized by comprising PY138, a quinophthalone derivative having a polar group and a polymeric pigment dispersing agent having basic groups in the structure. The colorant composition and the color filter are also provided. The liquid crystal display panel is prepared by using the color filter.
