<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively preserving cut vegetables while maintaining commercial values and to provide a method for producing packed cut vegetables. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preserving cut vegetables and the method for producing packed cut vegetables comprise each subjecting cut vegetables to wetting process in a solution with dissolved chlorite and hypochlorite, preserving the processed vegetables stuck with the solution for at least 1-24 h, washing the vegetables followed by draining and preserving the vegetables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
